ARGENTINEAN KILING COVER GALLERY
plus covers from COLOMBIA
Argentina is a very comics-friendly country. Many
excellent illustrators were nurtured there and exploded on the world
comics scene. Argentina also published an amazing amount of photo
comics, including the Spanish-language KILING.
After reprinting the original Italian series, the
Argentine editors decided to create all-new adventures of the King of Crime. After creating a new skeleton suit and casting a new Dana,
the series had a successful run and left an impact on South American
culture. Other Argentinean photo comics included the sexy Namur and the creepy Yorga and Kiling
made crossover appearances in both titles (see below). For even more information about the Argentine foto novelas, be sure to glom KILLING TIME #1! Many cover scans courtesy of Bernard Bernier and Alberto Donda.

KILING & COMPANY
SADISTIK in South America!
The Argentinean publisher of Kiling, Ediciones Record, put out many comic and photo comic titles. Namur, “Peligro Supreme (Danger Supreme)” was a sexy super spy in a black leather bikini and mask… Yorga was “el Hombre Lagarto (The Lizard Man)” a were-reptile with poison blood, and both partied with the Argie Kiling in their own magazines. Another intriguing title was Arania Negra, Sociedad para Justicia (Black Spider, Society for Justice). See a complete Namur story (in Spanish) with a bilingual article at Roberto Barreiro's Namur page.
Skorpio was a comics magazine with many features including Corto Malteseby Hugo Pratt. In the first issue there’s a 14 page comic purporting to be the origin of the King of Crime. Though Comicfix has released it in color and English for the first time in BEWARE: SADISTIK #1, we do not consider it part of the Sadistik canon. Most likely it is part of a disinformation campaign by Sadistik himself!
KILING vs BETTY PAGE?! KILING is alive and well in Argentina... and partying with Betty Page! Buenos Aires
artist Sol Rac created this wild poster with the King of Crime and the Queen of Kink! See more of his cool stuff at the Sol Rac MySpace page!
COLOMBIAN KILING COVERS
Bernard Bernier and SS-Sunda sent us these scans of the psychotically rare issues of the Colombian Kiling! They reprint both the Italian and Argentinian editions of the King of Crime!
